How can we help

Anytime is update MY contact information

There are many reasons for homeowners to want to ensure that the SMTA Board has current contact information for you.

  1. In Case of Emergency – If there is a storm and there is tree damage to a home.
  2. Property Maintenance Issues – Someone emailed the Board or called a Board member to report water running at a home down the street. The owners were out of state for the summer.  The contact phone was not in service. In this case, with some luck we were able to reach the owner.  A different neighbor had the current contact information.
  3. Neighbor to Neighbor Issues – A Board member noticed one early morning that there were several large packages in front of a home. The Board member went by late in the day and saw the same packages still out front. Concerned that the packages would get stolen, the Board member went to call the homeowner only to find that there was no current phone number available. Fortunately, the Board member was able to email the homeowner and resolve the issue and get the packages behind the homeowner’s gate.

These are just a few examples of situations that can arise.  It is so important for the SMTA Board to have current contact information for owners. It is also required for the Board to have current contact information for tenants if the property is rented.

Please keep in mind if you are receiving email blasts that this does not mean we have that complete updated contact information.

Play it safe and make sure that SMTA has the most up-to-date information for you.

Update here

New pavers for front sidewalks and landscape walls

Please remember that any modification/s require PRIOR written approval be obtained from the SMTA Board as well as MRPOA.  The new pavers can also be used for inside the gate and backs. These must be approved if seen from the street (in front) or if homeowner is on the greenbelt. Approval must be obtained before any work begins.  Fines may be imposed if this process is not followed.

Note the Board does not mandate what vendor is used to provide materials and/or labor. Nor does the Board refer vendors to homeowners. That is up to the individual homeowner.  It is the responsibility of the Board to review all applications, enforce the R&R’s and CC&R’s, and ensure consistency within SMTA.

We hope you enjoy these new options and take advantage of these opportunities.
